Reverse Salinity Correction Calculator

* Special thanks to Boomer from www.reefcentral.com for his help.

Given the true salinity of a water sample, this calculator estimates the relative specific gravity (sg) that a non-temperature-correcting hydrometer will observe when used to sample that water at a temperature other than the one it was calibrated at.

For example if a 77F/25C calibrated hydrometer is used to measure water with a salinity of 1.026 and at a temperature of 86F/30C, the hydrometer will actually observe 1.0244 rather than 1.026.
