Maximum O2 Level Calculator
* Special thanks to Boomer from
www.reefcentral.com
for his help.
This calculator estimates the maximum equilibrium concentration of oxygen (O2) in aquarium water. The local atmospheric pressure must be known so that the oxygen concentration in the atmosphere can be estimated. If you don't know this, enter your local altitude instead.
Atmospheric Pressure or Altitude:
Atmospheres (atm)
Millimeters of Mercury (torr)
Inches of Mercury (inHg)
Altitude in Feet (ft)
Altitude in Meters (m)
Salinity:
Parts-Per-Thousand (ppt)
Relative Specific Gravity (sg)
Conductivity (mS/cm)
Temperature:
Fahrenheit
Celsius/Centigrade
Kelvin
Maximum O2 Level:
ppm
mg/L
This calculator estimates the
maximum equilibrium
concentration of O2, which can differ quite markedly from the
actual
O2 concentration in your aquarium.
