Monitoring Equipment

I had to replace the pH probe that I use to monitor the tank's pH. I had had it about 18 months.

Towards the end it simply would not calibrate properly. Whenever I placed it in the calibration solution it would slowly drift (for about 15-20 minutes) before settling on a value. My new probe was stable within 15 seconds.

I have installed some new American Marine AC Adapters for both my pH monitor and my salinity monitor. These are the newer versions of the adapters which don't get interference from powerful lighting systems.

These newer AC Adapters also come with modified battery doors to accomodate the wires. With the older adapters, you had to just leave the door off.

The monitoring equipment that I am using on this tank is the same as for my previous tank.

I have, however, re-calibrated the salinity and pH monitors.
