Purple Ribbon Gorgonian (Gorgonia sp.)

Like my other gorgonians, this one continues to show great polyp extension but shows no new growth.

I had to re-position this gorgonian when placing all my live-rock back in the tank after trying to fish my Orange Spot Rabbitfish out.

I noticed a brown diatom layer was growing on this gorgonian and moved it to an area of higher flow. It appears to have fully recovered now.

This is a somewhat difficult photosynthetic gorgonian that requires supplemental feeding. I'm feeding it Oyster Eggs right now, but may move to something else if it doesn't do well.
