Cerith Snail (Cerithium sp.)
+ September 19, 2008
Most of the cerith snails in the refugium survived the tank crash. Additionally, I saw a handful of these hardy snails
moving around in the main tank after I replaced the water.
They are now in my current system.

Cerith snails are one of the most popular snail species among marine aquarists. They consume a variety of algaes and diatoms,
remain small, and have been known to breed in captivity.
I have added about 40 of these snails to the system (most to the main tank, but some to the display refugium as
well).
